As a published author myself, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate the process of getting your work into the world. Early in my career, each query letter took me a week to polish and would often result in rejection in as little as five minutes or radio silence for longer than five years. I found the process to be painful! That's why I offer help and encouragement finding agents and publishers for your work in addition to providing developmental editing services. My goal is to save you time and make the process engaging and enjoyable! With my assistance, you'll not only have a polished manuscript but also guidance and support in finding the right agent or publisher so your work can get off the runway and into the sky.

I approach the entire process with a mindful, joyful, and collaborative mindset that takes into account the unique challenges of writing and publishing. Additionally, I am able to build in creative coaching services to help you overcome writer's block and write through challenges such as depression, anxiety, or ADHD. I have experience working with writers of all ages who write in all genres, and I am confident that I can help you achieve your writing and publishing goals. TESTIMONIALS

Elizabeth’s editorial assistance has been invaluable. She looked at my manuscript with a fresh eye and set about showing me how to improve its punch. Her comments were uniformly positive and insightful, assets especially valuable to a first-time author like me. Elizabeth kept her eye on twin goals:  amplifying my voice and making my document appeal to a publisher. She researched the presses that might be amenable to publishing my sort of work and steered me through the process of producing an effective cover letter. That included setting up a marketing plan for the prospective publisher.  The end result—a contract with the first press to which I submitted my memoir—speaks volumes for her expertise. I could not have done it without her!

Elizabeth has been immensely helpful to me in sharpening key details of my novel, including enhancing world-building, strengthening character arcs, and improving plot progression. She blends thoughtful, creative suggestions with straightforward, common-sense recommendations, and is a joy to work with. Highly recommended!
